Birth details

The name, date, time and place you enter are used to draw your chart in your own browser. They are kept in your browser’s local storage on the device you used, so the site remembers them next time. They are not sent to our server, and there is nowhere on our side for them to be kept.

Clearing your browser’s site data for this domain removes them completely.

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs, which include IP addresses, for a limited period. We do not use them to build a profile of anyone and we do not combine them with anything you typed.

Affiliate links

No page carries a paid link at the moment. If a link to a service we have a paid partnership with is added, it will pass through our own address first so we can count how often it is used. We would record the link that was used and the time, and never who used it. The service you landed on would have its own privacy policy, which would apply from that point on.

Advertising

Pages meant for reading carry advertisements supplied by Google AdSense. Google and the advertising companies it works with use cookies to choose and measure those advertisements, and may base them on your earlier visits to this site and to other sites. Google handles this data under its own terms and privacy policy.

You can turn off personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings, and opt out of many other companies’ advertising cookies at aboutads.info. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google asks for your choice before any advertising cookie is set, and the same message lets you change it later.

No advertisement is placed on the pages that show your chart, a compatibility reading or your transits, and we do not pass your birth details or your name to Google.

Analytics

If you allow it, we use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are opened, the site you arrived from, the kind of device and browser, and a rough location that Google works out from your IP address without storing the address itself. It sets its own cookies on this site, named _ga, to tell a returning visit from a new one. Google provides the service and handles this data under its own terms and privacy policy.

Google Analytics is not loaded until you choose Allow, and not at all if you say no. It never receives your birth details or your name: the pages that show your chart or a compatibility reading carry no analytics tag at all, and the address it is given never includes the part after a #. You can change your choice at any time with Analytics at the foot of every page.

Cookies and other trackers

Advertising cookies are set by Google and the companies it works with, as described under Advertising. Apart from that, and Google Analytics when you allow it, we do not embed third-party trackers, fonts or scripts, and everything else the site loads comes from this domain.
